- Build and manage Mukuna, an Auckland music event guide and syndication system. When venues and promoters log in to add and edit listings, their own websites and MySpace pages are automatically updated with the changes. Gig information is available through the main website or by sending an SMS text message.

2005: Interactive Projects Manager Cornucopia K.K. (now Eat Creative) Tokyo, Japan
- Project management, content development, and website production for a small creative agency
- Complete website overhaul for the Grand Hyatt Tokyo to increase site usability and search engine traffic. Included a secure administrative site to update news and promotions.
- Bilingual website for Benoit, an Alain Ducasse restaurant. Included a secure administrative site to update news and menus.
2003-2004: Freelance Web Development Auckland, New Zealand
- Website for the Asia regional division of Air Canada a multi-location, multi-language site, all coming together with XSL/XML. Worked remotely with Cornucopia (now Eat Creative) and Mikan Solutions in Tokyo.
- Site design and coding for Tokyo-based magazine Kateigaho International Edition, including Flash production. Plus general copy editing and researching/writing their email newsletter.
2001-2002: Freelance Web Development, Proofreading Tokyo, Japan
- Graphic design, interface design, programming and production for two Tokyo restaurants, Fujimamas and Kubakan (no longer running).
- Revamped the website for Chicago record label 482 Music using PHP and MySQL. Built a secure administrative site to update all content.
- Various site-production projects with Cornucopia (now Eat Creative), including Japanese-localization sites for Air Canada and Bombay Sapphire.
- Designed and produced a bilingual consumer-sales website for The SanSonoma Wine Company, using XML/XSL.
- Redesigned and developed the official site for San Francisco band Fojimoto.
2000-01: Freelance Web Development & Copywriting Chicago, USA
- Web development for U.S. Robotics. Adapted existing ASP code to create a set of templates for a series of international sites, to supply information for 20 countries in 8 languages. The template system allows web managers in individual countries to edit their content, while maintaining a consistent design and structure across all sites.

- Taught junior high and elementary school students in rural Kyoto prefecture.
1993-96: Copywriting & Copy Editing Gap, Inc. San Francisco, USA
- Wrote copy for ad campaigns, in-store signs, packaging, and corporate pieces for Gap, GapKids, babyGap and Old Navy as part of the 3-person editorial department within Gap's in-house advertising agency. In '96 moved over to the pre-launch, website development group.
- In '95 and '96, also copy edited and fact checked articles for Might magazine.
- In '93 and '94 also wrote and edited articles for And, a San Francisco art and culture magazine.
